C3. Assessment

The Beacons of Light Leadership Culture Survey will primarily be used in the Phase 3 Leadership retreat. This assessment allows for a quick survey of participants (usually staff and lay leadership) to gather their current experience of the group’s current values and ecclesial culture.

This survey is intended to foster and fuel conversation among the leadership team about what they perceive as the current values and behaviors defining their current ecclesial culture as well as to understand values and behaviors that would better support the desired ecclesial culture.

Using the Beacons of Light Leadership Culture Assessment requires support from the Center for Parish Vitality. The survey itself is administered as an online survey in a Google form with associated Google Sheet. The Google Sheet provides anonymized results thereby facilitating open discussion.
