Each pastor is asked to designate a Pathway Lead for the Family of Parishes. Now that you have had time to become acquainted with your staff, we ask you to identify one staff member who will share responsibility for Beacons, who can receive critical communication and support you as you lead your Family. Having a Pathway Lead will relieve the burden on you to read every email and remember every detail, freeing you to focus your time and attention on the most important matters and ensuring that you may stay on track with the Beacons process. 

The Pathway Lead:

• Should be a member of the Family Leadership Team (or another trusted staff leader if the FLT has not yet been formed)
• Not just someone who can forward emails to others, but one who shares responsiblity for leadership in Beacons of Light
• Ideally is the leader or member of the Pathway Team, if this team is to remain active after Phase 1, and if a member of the FLT
